Aqua Creations Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what information Aqua Creations collects through aquacreations.com and when you call or email us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have, including your rights as a California resident.

Effective date: October 9, 2026

The short version: we use your information to answer your questions, give you an estimate, and do the work you hire us for. We do not sell it. The full policy is below.

Who we are and what this policy covers

Aqua Creations is a pool and spa resurfacing contractor based at 1547 Los Angeles Ave, Suite #108, Ventura, CA 93004. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Aqua Creations, and "you" means anyone who visits aquacreations.com or contacts us.

This policy covers information we collect through this website and through the calls, emails, and estimate requests that start here. It does not cover the separate terms of a signed project agreement, which may include its own provisions about project records.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us, plus a limited amount of technical information that websites receive automatically.

  • Contact and estimate requests. Your name, phone number, email address, the city where the pool is, the type of pool, and anything you write about it. When you use the estimate form, your own email app sends this to us, so we also receive whatever your email normally includes, such as your email address and any photos you attach.
  • Calls and emails. Your phone number, the details you share during a call, and the content of emails you send us. We may keep notes of these conversations so we can follow up on your request.
  • Chat messages. If you use the chat window on the site, we receive the messages you type and any contact details you give, and the provider that runs the chat window processes them for us.
  • Project information. If you hire us, we keep the information needed to schedule and complete the job, such as the property address, access notes, photos of the pool, and billing records.
  • Site and device information. Like most websites, our site and its hosting provider may receive your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and the site that sent you here. Analytics tools and cookies, described below, may collect similar information.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not send them by email or form.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions and estimate requests by phone or email.
  • Schedule an estimate visit, prepare an estimate, and, if you hire us, schedule and perform the work.
  • Send invoices, take payment, and keep the business records the law requires.
  • Understand how visitors use the site so we can fix problems and improve its pages.
  • Protect the site, our business, and our customers from fraud, spam, and misuse.

We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to these without telling you first.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business and the website, and only as much as they need to do that job. These may include our website hosting provider, email and phone providers, the chat window provider, analytics providers, and payment or financing providers you choose to use. They are not allowed to use your information for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, our crews, or the public. If Aqua Creations is ever sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the new owner, who would remain bound by this policy for information collected under it.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Our site may use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, to remember basic settings, and to measure visits with an analytics service.

Some pages include an embedded Google Map. When you view one, Google may receive your IP address and set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. The same applies to links to our social media pages once you follow them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, although some features, such as the chat window or the maps, may not load. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, a Global Privacy Control signal has nothing to turn off on this site. If that ever changes, we will treat the signal as a valid opt-out.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you these rights over your personal information:

  • Right to know. You can ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to, and ask for a copy of the specific pieces we hold.
  • Right to delete. You can ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions, such as records we must keep for tax or legal reasons or to finish a job you hired us for.
  • Right to correct. You can ask us to correct personal information about you that is inaccurate.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. You can tell us not to sell or share your personal information. We do not do either today.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you used any of these rights.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger the right to limit its use.

How to make a privacy request

To use any of the rights above, contact us by email at aquaglass@aquacreations.com or by phone at (805) 672-1695, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. Please tell us which right you want to use and how we can reach you.

We will confirm we received your request and respond within the time the law requires. To protect your information, we will verify your identity first, usually by matching details you give us with the records we already have. We may ask for more information if we cannot verify the request.

You may have an authorized agent make a request for you. We may ask the agent for proof that you gave them permission, and we may ask you to verify your identity directly.

How long we keep information

We keep estimate requests and the related emails and notes for as long as we need them to respond and follow up. If you hire us, we keep project, invoice, and payment records for as long as we need them to support the work we did and to meet tax, accounting, and other legal requirements.

When we no longer need information for these purposes, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to the people who need it to serve you. No website, email, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without permission. If you think information you shared with us is at risk, please contact us right away.

Children's privacy

This website is meant for adults arranging pool and spa work. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy when our practices or the law change. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we may also add a notice on the site.
