Apartment Pool Resurfacing Planned Around Your Residents
Apartment pool resurfacing from Aqua Creations replaces a rough, stained surface at your complex with AQUA-GLASS™ fiberglass, applied by our own crews, never subcontractors. Tell us when the property can close the pool, and residents get back a pool with a smooth floor and steps.

What residents see, and what to tell them at each stage
Complaints during a resurface usually come from surprise, not the closure itself. Plan the messages along with the schedule and the front office stays ahead of the questions.

Residential complex poolThe pool is on every leasing tour
Prospects see the pool on a leasing tour, and residents bring a rough floor or stained steps to the front office long before anything closes.
It is also a regulated pool. Ventura County Environmental Health, for example, counts pools at apartment buildings, and any pool that serves more than three families, as public pools under its inspection program, and its resurfacing worksheet calls for a white interior finish. The finish on an apartment pool is planned with those rules in mind.
While the pool is drained, the same visit can cover the waterline tile and coping, plumbing leaks, safety rails, and the drain covers and suction outlets under VGBA compliance upgrades, so residents lose the pool once. Every service is listed on our pool resurfacing services page.

Answers your front office can give residents
These are the questions managers hear during a resurface, with plain answers you can reuse in notices, emails, and the leasing office.
Why is the pool closing?
The pool is getting a new interior surface. The old plaster has worn rough and stained, and the apartment pool resurfacing project replaces it with a smooth fiberglass finish. A planned closure now avoids an unplanned one later in the season.
How long will the pool be closed?
Use the dates set at the proposal stage for this apartment pool resurfacing job and give residents the reopening target. The length depends on the pool’s size and condition and on any tile, coping, or drain work done in the same closure.
Will there be noise and crews on the property?
Yes, during working hours. Grinding off the old surface is the loudest stage and comes early in the job. Crews are Aqua Creations employees from our Ventura shop, not subcontractors, and the pool area stays closed while they work.
Will the pool feel different when it reopens?
Yes. The floor and steps are smooth where the worn plaster was rough, which is the first thing most swimmers notice. Pool hours and rules stay the same unless management changes them.
Is the spa closing too?
If the spa is part of the project, yes. It is usually resurfaced in the same closure so residents lose access only once, and it reopens on the same schedule as the pool unless the notice says otherwise.
Responsive from the first call
For a manager, a smooth resurface is one where calls get answered and the crew is easy to deal with. That is what this customer noticed.
I am really pleased with the pool. Everyone at AQUA has been responsive and very professional. Your technicians did a beautiful job and have provided excellent customer service. Thank you!!!
